Yao Wei, co-founder of the company, has been the CEO of the company since its inception in 1989. As a veteran in China broadcasting industry, he was involved in the development and manufacture of China first character generator, non-linear editing system and networking solutions. Yao Wei is a fellow of IEEE in China. He is also the Vice President in China Broadcasting TV Equipment Association, and a board of director in China MSPTE. He was honored as the best enterpriser for years from 1995. In 1998, he was awarded the Excellent Youth from Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2001, he received the best National Medal of Science and Technology.

Yao Wei received a bachelor's degree in Physics from the NanKai University in 1984, and a master degree with the major in Electronic Engineering from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1987.

Deng Wei
Board Director, Vice President & Chief Technology Officer

Deng Wei was appointed as Chief Technology Officer of Dayang and Vice President since 2000. Prior to that, he was deputy CTO from 1995 to 2000, and Software Director from 1993-1995. Mr. Deng joined Dayang since 1992. In his capacity, he initiated many innovative product developments including the character generator, non-linear editing and networking system which were mostly rewarded by China government. In 1998, he was honored the Excellent Youth from China Central Government. In 2001, he received the best National Medal of Science and Technology. In 2006, he was awarded the Talent Contributor from Haidian District in Beijing.

Deng Wei received double bachelor degrees with majors in Physics and Computer Science from Tsinghua University in 1989, and a master degree in Electronic Engineering from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1992.

Zhen WeiHua
Vice President

ZhenWeihua is a co-founder of the company. She was appointed as Vice General Manger in 1995; later changed to Vice President since 2000. From 1989 to 1995, she was Hardware Director. As a senior engineer and experienced manager, she successfully led the company to achieve many milestones. Now she mostly contributes on company daily operation.

Zhen Weihua received a bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University in 1986, and a master degree in Electronic Engineering from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1989.

Liu Bingyin
Vice President
Dayang Technology Development Inc., Beijing

Liu Bingyin has been Vice President since he joined Dayang in 2002. With his rich experience in China broadcasting market, he made significant contributions in marketing and sales operation. From 1992 to 2002, he founded Beijing Bosswell Ltd. and served as CEO. He successfully delivered 500 channels and accomplished NEC integrated system project during those period. Prior to that, he was Project Manger in Beijing TV Equipment Factory from 1983 to 1992.

Liu Yi was appointed as Vice President since 2004. Prior to that, he was Assistant to CEO, and Production Manager since joined Dayang in 1992. He is also a board of director in China MSPTE. Liu Yi contributed on promoting Dayang's brand, and has broad connection in the broadcasting industry and related government departments.

Li Jiang was appointed as Vice President since 2003. From 2001 to 2003, he was Sales Director; from 1998 to 2001, he was Dayang's Marketing Manager. He joined Dayang in 1994. Li Jiang has rich experiences in dealer sales for broadcasting industry. In 2003, he received the best National Medal of Science and Technology.

Li Jiang received a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from ZheJiang University in 1994, and a MBA from Peking University.

Li Yongbao has been Vice President since 2004; from 2000 to 2004, he was R&D Director; from 1998 to 2000, he was Hardware Manager. He joined Dayang as an engineer in 1996. With his solid technical background, Li Yongbao contributes much on products development, such as the first generation of Dayang PCI Subtitle Board, VRSet and so on.

Li Yongbao received a bachelor degree in Biomedical Instrument from ZheJiang University in 1993, and a master degree in Biomedical Instrument from ZheJiang University in 1996.
