¡¡¡¡ Jul 6th, 2004 - Dayang, Panasonic and CCTV have signed the agreement for choosing P2 Technology and Dayang Products to develop CCTV Economy Channel. Today, P2 technology has become the next revolution of archive for TV Station, Media Sources in the broadcasting industry. Besides Thomson, Pinnacle, Avid has announced to support P2 technology, Dayang is going to join this union. Previous NAB2004, Dayang has stepped the further cooperation with Panasonic on this next generation archive technology. While P2 Technology comes out to the global market, Dayang will provide all the desktop workstation and network solution with P2 technology compatible.
Dayang and Panasonic hopes that P2 technology will be developed around the completion of TV station workflow. This Olympic Summer Games in Athens, the FIFA World Cup, and the Olympic Winter Games in 2006 has already chosen to use P2 products; therefore, P2 will be a true revolution for the video archive technology in the broadcasting field. Panasonic has already considered about integration P2 with DVCPRO series, and even computer network.
