The spectacular performance and fireworks at the Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony, held on 8th August in the Bird¡¯s Nest attracted over ninety thousand spectators in the stadium and four billion TV audiences worldwide. Dayang recently won the Program Production Network Project of Guangdong TV Station which consists of ingest, production, and archive systems. This project is designated for the Beijing Olympic Games broadcasting. Dayang also contributed all the effort to supply Guangdong TV Station onsite studio in Beijing with equipment and technical support for the broadcasting of the games.   Dayang coordinates the Beijing All Media and Culture Group (BAMC), utilising the latest technology of Dayang Digital Signage which is also called D3-Info.Net for realtime ingest and playout of the event related information and programs through the big LCDs displayed in all the 24 Olympic Cultural Parks. This is the first time in the Olympic history that New Media has been granted the Olympic broadcast rights. Visitors in the Olympic Cultural Parks can now watch and enjoy a close up of the games simultaneously with the spectators in the stadium.   The 7.8 hectare Tianjin Olympic Stadium which is nicknamed ¡¯Water Drop¡¯ uses Dayang¡¯s D3-Info.Net to manage and publish multimedia information through the LCDs in the stadium during the Games. Dayang D3-Info.Net simultaneously publishes multimedia information in multiple areas of the same layout, such as video, audio, text information, rolling news, and real-time weather forecast, which are supplied to the spectators onsite.
Dayang also won the One Stop Tapeless Network Project of Qinhuangdao TV Station. With the football games during the Olympics held in the city of Qinhuangdao, Dayang has helped Qinhuangdao TV Station build a one stop tapeless TV Station based on the creative technology of DPower HD to satisfy the high requirements of expansion, security, automatization and digitalization. 2008 is a significant year for the Chinese, and as a patriotic company which always takes pride in social responsibilities, Dayang is proud to be using the latest technologies to broadcast the great games.
