¡¡¡¡ Dayang reports a resoundingly successful and productive BroadcastAsia, further strengthening its presence and standing in the international arena. Held at the Singapore Expo in Singapore from 16th to 19th June, this 4-day event saw an eager crowd at Dayang¡¯s booth located at the Singapore Pavillion in Hall 8. On display were Dayang¡¯s extensive range of equipment, including the D3-CG Character Generator, ME Professional Non linear Editor, D3-MiniAir Automation System, i Store Intelligent Media Storage, i MAM Integrated Media Asset Management, and VIPS HD Video Server which attracted much attention from visitors from the Asia Pacific region. ¡°We had a very good quality crowd at BroadcastAsia and generated a number of very promising leads. We are very encouraged by the high level of interest shown in Dayang products,¡± comments Chen Wentao, General Manager of Asia Pacific. Strong interest was shown in particular to the spot light of the show - Dayang's new VIPS (Video Ingest Playout Server), unveiled at BroadcastAsia for the first time. ¡°This highly versatile and cost-effective HD Video Server employs a modular design to make the system simple and stable. It supports a number of coding/decoding formats, allows for mixed playout of different file formats, provides file interaction with third-party devices without transcoding, and offers multiple digital and analog interfaces,¡± adds Chen. Dayang¡¯s team of expert demo artists were kept busy at Dayang¡¯s booth with a constant flow of keen visitors requesting for demos and detailed product information. Overall, Dayang¡¯s participation in BroadcastAsia was a very rewarding experience.
